Our Core Values
Seventh-day Adventist values are rooted in the revelation of God provided through the Bible and the life of Jesus Christ.
Our sense of identity and calling grows from an understanding of Bible prophecies, especially those concerning the time immediately preceding the return of Jesus. Consequently all of life becomes a growing experience and demonstration of involvement with God and His kingdom.
Seventh-day adventists accept the bible as the only source of our beliefs. We consider our movement to be the result of the protestant conviction sola scriptura—the bible as the only standard of faith and practice for christians.
Currently, Adventists hold 28 fundamental beliefs that can be organized into six categories—the doctrines of God, man, salvation, the church, the Christian life and last day events.
Barry St. Clair
“ During trying times, let's remember, Jesus is walking among us, and knows everything about us personally and as a church. Revelation shows Jesus walking among the churches, and revealing intimate understanding of both our strengths and weakness. We can continue to worship with full assurance of eternal salvation regardless of our present circumstance. Look up for your redemption draws near... Even so, come Lord Jesus!”
